TERMITE INFORMATION

According to the CSIRO, approximately $200 million worth of damage is caused by termites every year in Australia.  Although often referred to as ‘white ants’, termites actually have pale brown bodies with a darker head. The queen of a termite colony can live for up to 20 years and can reproduce up to 30 000 eggs per day!

   

What do I do if I find I have termites? Call us straight away!
Don’t panic, and don’t disturb the nest or spray it with insecticides. This will drive the Termites away from the area and make them even more difficult to find. If you uncover termites, try to put things back as they were.
